03 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
04 - 2 tablespoons chia seeds
05 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
06 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Toppings

08 - 1/2 cup granola
09 - Additional fresh strawberries, sliced, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl or mason jar, combine rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until well integrated.
02 - Gently fold the sliced strawberries into the oat mixture, preserving their shape and texture.
03 - Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours, allowing the oats and chia seeds to fully hydrate and soften.
04 - In the morning, stir the overnight oats thoroughly. If the mixture appears too thick, add a splash of milk to achieve desired consistency.
05 - Divide the prepared overnight oats evenly between two bowls or serving jars.
06 - Top each serving with granola and additional fresh strawberries if desired. Serve immediately.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It's genuinely hands-off once mixed, giving you back eight hours of your life while breakfast does its own thing.
  • The texture keeps improving as it sits—creamy oats, tender berries, and those chia seeds create little pockets of flavor that feel luxurious without effort.
02 -
  • Don't skip the overnight chill—the first time I tried to eat it after two hours, the oats were still gritty and sad; patience is the secret ingredient here.
  • Add toppings right before eating, not the night before, or you'll end up with crunchy granola soup.
03 -
  • Make it the night before a busy day, not on the morning of—you'll actually want to eat something this good instead of grabbing whatever's closest.
  • If your oats taste bland, you didn't use enough honey or vanilla; taste as you go and adjust to your own preference because store-bought overnight oats are never this good.
