Festive snowman-shaped Oreo and cream cheese balls covered with white chocolate, great for winter celebrations.

# What You'll Need:

→ Oreo Dough

01 - 36 Oreo cookies (1 package)
02 - 6 oz cream cheese, softened

→ Coating & Decoration

03 - 12 oz white chocolate or candy melts
04 - Mini chocolate chips or black decorating gel for eyes and buttons
05 - Orange sprinkles or colored icing for nose
06 - Pretzel sticks or colored fondant for arms and scarves
07 - Lollipop sticks

# How to Make It:

01 - Pulse Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely crushed.
02 - Mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until a smooth, uniform dough forms.
03 - Roll dough into 32 small balls (~0.8 inches) and 16 larger balls (~1.2 inches).
04 - Stack one small ball atop one large ball, press gently to adhere, insert a lollipop stick through the center, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
05 - Freeze assembled snowmen for 20 to 30 minutes until firm.
06 - Melt white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
07 - Dip chilled snowmen into melted chocolate coating evenly, letting excess drip off. Place upright in a styrofoam block or cup to set.
08 - While coating is tacky, apply mini chocolate chips or decorating gel for eyes and buttons, and use orange icing or sprinkles for noses.
09 - After coating sets, attach pretzel sticks or fondant for arms and scarves to complete decoration.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • They look impossibly cute and impress everyone, but the method is actually forgiving and hard to mess up.
  • No baking required means you can make them in the middle of wrapping presents or while the house is still in pajamas.
02 -
  • If your dough feels too wet, add crushed Oreos; too dry, add a tiny bit more cream cheese. You learn the feel of it after handling a few balls.
  • Freezing the snowmen before dipping is non-negotiable or they'll slide right off the stick into warm chocolate and break your heart.
03 -
  • Keeping your chocolate bowl warm while you work makes dipping smoother; if it cools and thickens, give it another 15-second microwave blast.
  • Dipping at a slight angle lets you control the flow better than dipping straight down, and you waste less chocolate that way.
