# How to Make It:
- In a small bowl, blend smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Rub the pork shoulder with olive oil, then evenly coat with the spice mixture.
- Place pork in a slow cooker or Dutch oven. Add apple cider, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours or until the pork shreds easily.
- Heat a grill or large cast-iron skillet over high heat for searing the shredded pork.
- Remove pork from cooking liquid, shred with forks, and toss with half of the barbecue sauce and chopped fresh parsley, chives, and thyme.
- Place shredded pork in a grill basket or directly on skillet; sear for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until edges are crispy and charred.
- Butter the inside of each bun and toast on grill or skillet until golden and crisp.
- Pile pulled pork onto toasted buns. Drizzle with remaining barbecue sauce, top with sliced red onion and optional coleslaw. Serve immediately.
